Family Expo and Dogman

One good thing about Orlando is that they always have different events coming through town, and recently they had a Kids Expo down at the Convention center that Grandma and Grandpa took Addison to, and were able to meet up with Grandpa Lyle's grandkids and with Erik and Elin.  It was a lot of fun with tons to do -- complete with a parrot that you could hold!

Addison said later that she was shaking with excitement when she was holding the bird!

Another fun event was going out to Dogman play at the Orlando Rep.  Addison likes Dogman (her mom......not the most clever play of all time but it is fun to go out and spend time together!

Grandma and Grandpa are good sports to come out to these plays with us!

Amy had a fun date night with the boys at Crepevine

The little playhouse in our yard finally had served its purpose and London was getting past the age of wanting to play with it, so Karis rented a little tractor and demolished it.  Unbeknownst to us, a honey bee colony had made its home underneath, so they were swarming Karis as he tried to take it apart - but thankfully he did not get stung (although you could see he was recoiling from them and trying to "blow" them away from him as he drove the tractor!

The redo of the pool was finally finished - we have been enjoying it now - and even the boys have gotten in with us a few times (including Mom!)

We shifted the hot tub to be next to the house so that it was an easier in/out access.

Last but not least, Amy came home one afternoon and went to walk into the house and found this turtle - apparently he wanted to come in as well!  We stepped over him and proceeded into the house and when Karis got home, he had already found his way out back into the wild so all was well.
