Utah or Bust!

The time for the annual men's ski trip has come - much to Karis' delight. This year they headed back to Salt Lake City.  The snow this year has been incredible - so much snow that it was truly a unique year to back out on the slopes.

Back "on the ranch" - it was a busy weekend for Amy and the kids.    Saturday lunch Grandma always invites us over for lunch when Karis is out of town, so that was an enjoyable afternoon of eating yummy food and playing Bible bingo!

That evening, Kaleb had a belated holiday party for Uno Voce in which each person went in a costume - his good friend Lilly and he went as Peter Pan and Tinker Bell - they did a great job of dressing up!

All dressed and ready to go!

Sunday was Pathfinder honor day, so Kaleb went and learned all about things like plumbing, heredity and microbiology. He ended before Amy could come back and get him, so he spent the last hour volunteering to help Auntie Kelli with paperwork for all of the pathfinders.

Amy left work a little earlier to take Addison to gymnastics on Monday, so it was fun to see all of her newfound skills.

This year part of the 8th grade yearbook - they allowed for kids to do a "then and now" pictures - so we recreated a couple of Evan and Kaleb - once with chickens and once with crazy hair school day!

The winter season is when the strawberries ripen here in Florida, so Grandma and Grandpa took Addison and the Js to go pick some strawberries - fun and oh so yummy!

With the Js living on our property, Addison has had hte opportunity to participate more frequently in one of their favorite activities - fishing!  And while out on the lake, it is a pleasure to be able to see the gorgeous sunsets.
