Serving Sabbath & Fall Festivals!

Our church has an annual serving sabbath day, in which there are many different volunteer organizations that come in to provide opportunities.  We chose the Wekiva State Park clean-up, it was a lovely day to be outside!

6 families were there for the clean-up
We got lots of garbage!
The clean-up duties involved picking up garbage along the trails.  The areas is very swampy with a lot of mud - so that made Addison just happy as a clam to be digging around in that muck!
Very muddy little girl!

Not quite as excited as the young kids for getting off of the trail and finding garbage, but he did it!

After the clean-up, there was an animal education session at the park, so the kids enjoyed staying to see the animals and touch them!

YIKES!  No touching snakes for Amy!

That weekend, there was also a church fall festival in lieue of Halloween - it is also fun to attend and Addison had a fabulous time

Pardon Amy for getting things out of order, but earlier in October there was also a school family festival that Addison and Devin attended - so many fun things to do!
