Our church has an annual serving sabbath day, in which there are many different volunteer organizations that come in to provide opportunities. We chose the Wekiva State Park clean-up, it was a lovely day to be outside!

6 families were there for the clean-up |

We got lots of garbage! |
The clean-up duties involved picking up garbage along the trails. The areas is very swampy with a lot of mud - so that made Addison just happy as a clam to be digging around in that muck!

Not quite as excited as the young kids for getting off of the trail and finding garbage, but he did it! |
After the clean-up, there was an animal education session at the park, so the kids enjoyed staying to see the animals and touch them!

YIKES! No touching snakes for Amy! |
That weekend, there was also a church fall festival in lieue of Halloween - it is also fun to attend and Addison had a fabulous time
Pardon Amy for getting things out of order, but earlier in October there was also a school family festival that Addison and Devin attended - so many fun things to do!
