Kaleb's Belated Birthday Party

With three kids in soccer games on Sunday, Sundays are a hard time to have a birthday party so Kaleb's birthday bash was delayed until mid-May when soccer was done.  

This year he chose to have it at the Nona Adventure Park, which is a big blow-up water obstacle course.  We'd never been before, so it was a fun experience and even Karis and William got out there!

They had two hours to go around and play, with a break in the middle of the two hours to eat lunch and cake.

There were lots of different elements on the water course, including monkey bars, a huge slide, a "mountain" that they could jump off of, and lots of places to try and keep your balance on.

That weekend was also the end of school and 8th grade graduation.  It was a busy few days for sure!  On Friday afternoon, Kaleb went over to his group of "Bible besties" house (Lily's house) for slip 'n' slide and food.  Great fun and a great group of kids - many, but not all, were part of his Uno Voce group this year.

Eighth grade graduation happened that Thursday night, and many of Kaleb's friends graduated so it was a little bitter-sweet for him.  As we held all of our kids back one year before going into kindergarten, they are as old as the next level class and so end up making friends in both their class and the one above.
