In high school and beyond, one of Amy's closest and dearest friends is Carmen (we roomed together Senior year of high school). She and her family came down to Florida to visit for a long weekend in February. They have 3 kids - Anique (18), Ava (15) and Andon (11).
The visit was too short for sure, but we enjoyed having some time to catch up and make memories. We can't wait to see them again - love you guys!
They know several families down here, so on Sabbath we went out to the beach after church so that we could enjoy some time together -- without anyone having to worry about a large crowd in their home. Plus the wind and sun hopefully would kill any Covid germ right? :)
We were joined by the Tkachucks and Pastor Alex's family from Spring Meadows -so there were lots of kids and adults running around!

Addison and Andon really got along swimmingly all weekend - they had a great time playing and hanging out.
Addison out of all of the Z kids probably enjoys the beach activities the most - she loves to get into the water and do the boogie board, and to be buried in the sand!

On Sunday, we headed out to Disney's Animal Kingdom, so that they could experience the Pandora / Avatar ride. That is one very cool ride! The parks haven't been as packed lately, so that it a relief.
While we were there, we did Avatar twice, the safari, Everest, Dinosaur, the kiddie-ride and game area. That pretty well packed our day but it was lovely weather and great fun.

And in a random picture, Ava and Addison went to church on Sabbath while the rest of us had a slow day - they were so pretty in their dresses!
